I've been coming here for over a decade. This is my favorite spot. Even if I don't come for awhile they always recognize me. Sweetest couple who runs the place. The food here is great and for a really good price

Called in our usual Nigiri order. 4 Tuna and 4 Salmon at $2.45/ 1 pc. Tried 2 new rolls. The Yum Yum roll for $10 and the Cherry Blossom Roll for $11. Drove over after hanging up the phone (they are 10 minutes away from me) and everything was ready to go when I walked in the door. Total was $43 for a WONDERFUL sushi feast. Nigiri fish is BIG and MEATY. The Yum Yum roll lives up to it's name. Take out only. Service is ALWAYS polite and efficient.

OMG!! The best sushi place in town! The service was amazing and the restaurant is very friendly and clean. If you're looking for a place to buy sushi then look no further! You've got to try New York Shushing!!

Food is always delicious, service is great and I love that it is little "mom and pop" type of small business.

Very fresh, very affordable good sushi. Good service. Take out only. Trust me this place is worth the drive if you crave good affordable sushi. Menu is pretty expansive and they have pictures of every item in-store. We got livonia roll, pink roll, spicy tuna rolls, and salmon sushi. All tasted very fresh and were quite size-able. Prices (see menu I posted) are very reasonable. Mom and pop/family owned restaurant and they are not pretentious at all. They were happy explaining items on the menu. This is take out only but that doesn't bother me because their sushi remains fresh and I got to enjoy it at home. Give this place a try!

I've found my new go-to takeout sushi! This place just goes to show that affordable sushi can still be ridiculously fresh, well made, and taste delicious. This place is takeout only so my husband and I got takeout for date night and it did not disappoint. The wait for our food was only 10 minutes, on a Friday night, and we were wowed. We got the spicy tuna roll, veggie roll, pink dragon roll, and Livonia roll. The flavors were clean, bright, and satisfying. I haven't had sushi as good as this in a while- I cannot stop sing their praise.

I ordered 2 of the crabmeat rolls (no cucumber, sub avocado) and they were both very good! It was very cheap (under $10 for both) and it tasted like good quality. They only have carry out, no dining in, and im pretty sure this is family owned. The cashier was very nice and the cooks they seemed like hard workers. I ordered my take out at 7pm and it was ready in under 10 minutes. Overall great experience, I have, and definitely plan on coming back!

An absolute must when I visit the area! My favorite roll is the Livonia Roll ($7 as of Sept 2022) - the roll is packed with salmon and tuna with a pleasant crunch from cucumber and a burst of freshness from green onion. It's an absolute yum! And to accompany it, I ordered 4 pieces of salmon nigiri ($2.25 each as of Sept 2022). The nigiri was good - the salmon was fresh and the cut was pretty generous. The rice was a little on the tiny side, though, and it could use more rice.... But other than, this made a really good, satisfying meal for lunch. I'm super curious about their party trays though. Maybe one day :)
